the Duke of Winsom, son of HRM William XVI of Aethelnia
HRH William Laertes Anemon, Duke of Winsom, is the first-born son of King WILLIAM XVII of Aethelnia. He is heir apparent to the throne of the kingdom of Aethelnia.
In year 303 he and his family -including the king's eldest grandchild, his eldest son, Merlin Augustus- moved from their Aethelnian residence, Chateau Moulinsart to Utania, where they currently own and operate a big farm. The heir apparent is unlikely to succeed his father to the throne, having voiced the rejection of his birth right and destiny several times in mainstream media. The father and son have not communicated to eachother ever since.
The current heir presumptive is HRH Thomas, Marquess of Winsom, king William XVII's nephew. It is presumed he will inherit the crown, as none of the aging king's children is keen to follow in their father's footsteps. However, it remains to be seen if the heir presumptive will be crowned king.
