This article shows how Melga's military will look like after the Large Military Reform or Rebuild (LMR) of 322 AP, planned and implemented with Estontetsan assistance. It is based on published plans and additional information gathered by journalists. Therefore it may still be incomplete or inconsistent, and the final outcome may be different.
Organisation[]
Melga has about 3,500 soldiers. TECH: This is the normal percentage (0.25% of inhabitants) of a military today. Estonia, with nearly as much inhabitants as Melga, has 6,000; during the cold war, Germany had 1% The military of Melga comprises all usual branches under the command of the Minister of Defence, who holds the rank of General, Admiral or Commander, depending on thed branch he (hopefully) has formerly served in, otherwise known as Major General.

Uniforms, Rank and Function Insignia[]
The uniforms resemble those worn in other countries, adjusted to the tropical climate in that generally only shirts are worn. The tunics were taken, or, in fact, purchased from Dascunyan military on their disbandment; experts know that they are based on an old model of the Aethelnian military.
The military ranks, the branch colours and the speciality/function colours are generally still those used in the military of the Lendosan Confederation which in turn are based on the system used in the old Lendian Empire. The insignia for ranks and functions, however, are different.
Although the police and fire brigades is not part of the military, they are mentioned where their uniform shares the system.
