After the consternation that came with the sudden departure of veteran James Baillie two years prior, the team committed to Dunbroch and switched to domestic automaker Zerus. The fabled Namurian car company's ICARA history seemed to rub off some, with Dunbroch making the Chase for the Crown Cup. He finished at the bottom of the Chase standings, but still a considerable improvement over 315AP. Calé Racing offered Dunbroch a multi-year contract extension, but he turned it down in favor of a two-year deal with Kukurian Koffeé Sevissky Racing that comes with automatic contract extensions for making the Chase for the Crown Cup.
