Estontetsan Councils And Courts

The Federal Estontetsan Republic as a parlamentary democracy has a hierarchic system of parlaments called Councils which also function as Courts in their respective entity.

The Federal President presides over the Federal Council And Court, the supreme parliament of Estontetso which acts also as supreme court.

Every Constituent Republic has a president who presides over the Council And Court of the respective republic.

The Regions as subdivisions of the Constituent Republics have their regional Council And Court, as do the local communities. All these C&C's are for the general legislation and the private and criminal jurisdiction over the citizens as such.

The same hierarchy develops in the administration which is headed by several branch-specific Offices, where we find a Council And Court of the respective office, and the same on every subordinated level. These C&C's take care of the internal rights and complaints of the officials.

The Councils And Courts of the administration are mirrored in the industry with respect to the rights and complaints of the workforce.

Courts

In its function as a court, every council elects a subset of their membership, mostly 2 to 4 persons. The lawful procedure of the court is guided by the respective Secretary if the council chairperson is not a fully qualified lawyer. Depending on the number of court cases, the individual hearings can be conducted by council members under the guidance of professional judges.

Courts of higher levels serve as courts of appeal for the subordinate courts.

Political Parties

Since the Gorami takeover, Estontetso officially "needed" no parties. In reality, council members could well be allocated to certain political movements. These movements have now been turned into real parties, and some new ones appeared in view of the upcoming elections.

	The governing Gorami faction (embodied by the Bundespräsident W. S. Hombruch), meanwhile a mass movement across classes and trades - but still without a self-description.
	The faction of the industry captains (headed by Alfredo de Bolèn-Albac), generally supporting the Gorami government.
	The Democratic faction (led by "the fox" Dr. Conny Adenau), cautiously oppositional.
	The Royalist or Traditionalist faction (related to Crown Prince Agosto PanKona), cautiously oppositional.
	The Conservatives (their senior figure is João André Serranho, son of ex-president André Serranho) whose most important demand is to restore and maintain the rights of the ethnicities and minorities.
	The Naturfreunde stand for the preservation of the environment.
	The Greens perform a radical opposition to any modernisation, they especially object to the building of new trafic paths (high speed railways, autobahns) and would even prefer to remove all of the smoky industry.

Towards the end of 324, the voices calling for elections to legitimise Gorami rule could no longer be ignored. A veritable election campaign began at the start of 325. An assassination attempt on Bundespräsident Hombruch caused a harsh setback. It was blamed on extremists. The elections were postponed; nevertheless, Pandora's box - the path to democratic elections - was opened.

Attempts to keep extreme parties out of the election or out of the discussion between parties that perceive themselves as democratic led to a fundamental debate about whether this form of democracy, in which extremists can legally come to power if only they get the masses behind them, can or should have a future. Pure, unswerving democracy may be as dangerous as pure, merciless justice or purified water.
