The internal and external security of the state is maintained by the Federal Constabulary. The constabulary are proud of their structural non-aggressiveness.

Command Structure and Pennants[] Commanders' pennants are flown on car fenders and from the gaff of vessels and boats. Same number of stars on pennant and on shoulder straps of generals' uniform, corresponding to the common designation as "1-/2-/3-star general".

Rules for the Militia Uniforms[]

Militia men and functionaries may wear their old uniforms from the time of their active service,

either complete,
or tunic and cap,
or cap only,

or they may wear the Militia uniform model "Marshal Yav Arudian" with modern rank insignia Constabulary-style.

Full-time militia functionaries wear distinctive cap stripes.

If functionaries wear an old uniform and in the militia received promotion above the rank their old uniform shows, they wear a distinctive lanyard; the old insignia must not be changed, the new rank is not visible, however.^[10]
