The Central Longerath Union (CLU) is a politico-economic union of states that are located in Longerath. The CLU was established on the 20th of January 317 with Samuelonia, Angliya, Phenixia, Drekanland, Westdenia, Ancalda, Northern Dascunya and Western Hochland becoming the first full member states.

Union

Upon formation all eight member states signed the Kleinburg Treaty which established an internal single market, free movement of people, goods, services, and capital within the internal market, enactment of legislation in justice and home affairs, and maintain common policies on trade, agriculture, fisheries, and regional development. Within the CLU Area, passport controls were abolished for CLU citizens. A monetary union was also established and is composed of all 8 member states which use the LU dollar currency.

The Central Longerath Union was established on the 20th of January 317 with Samuelonia, Angliya, Phenixia, Drekanland, Westdenia, Ancalda, Northern Dascunya and Western Hochland as founding member states. (Members are shown in medium-blue on the map.)

On 21 January 320 Solánçe, Tatsima, Ryugua, Lómbriguáy and Sanx, became associate members of the Central Longerath Union and representatives of the Greater Burovian Realm within the CLU. As associate members of the Union, they are not CLU members, but are partly committed to freedom of movement, economic regulations, cooperative law enforcement and part of the Longerath mutual defence agreement. On 6th September 321, membership was granted to Estontetso.

Defence

The Longerath Union Defence Alliance (LUDA) is the military alliance between Central Longerath Union member and associate states countries. LUDA constitutes a system of collective defence whereby its independent member states agree to mutual defence in response to an attack by any external party.

Law Enforcement

The Central Longerath Union Agency for Law Enforcement or LONPOL, is the law enforcement agency of the Central Longerath Union, headquartered in Cèdre, Phenixia. Formed in 317 to handle criminal intelligence and combat serious international organised crime and terrorism through cooperation between law enforcement authorities of CLU member states. The Agency has cross border powers to arrest suspects within CLU member states territory.
